DmC Devil May Cry to arrive January 2013, later for PC

Capcom has finally settled on a release date for DmC Devil May Cry, and like so many other major titles, this one's not going to be out until 2013.

If you're planning to pick up the game on Xbox 360 or PS3, mark your calendars for January 15. PC gamers will need to wait a while longer, though Capcom didn't get any more specific about the PC release date than "later in 2013."

DmC is being treated as an alternate story to the existing Devil May Cry series gamers have come to know and love. Hence, the grunge Dante. Developed by Ninja Theory, the series reboot is supposed to be a "more brutal and visceral" take on this long-standing action franchise.

Good decision Capcom, I may go out and grab it now that it doesn't have to compete with all these other titles coming out this year. I had nothing but hatred toward this game when it first came out, but after seeing what the game is now, it's actually got me pretty hyped.
