I'm using the one it came with.
I think the new X-Box 360's only come with composite (YWR) which are SD cables.

The older 360 cables were actually dual purpose (they had two outputs, Composite and Component, and a switch for same). If your cables are Yellow, White, and Red for the connectors than you're using SD cables. If they're Red, Green, and Blue then they are component, if it is a single connector on either side, with a sort of USB like shape then it's HDMI.

if you dont have a HD TV, get your ass out of the 90s and see what youve been missing. a fully functioning SDTV is a waste in of itself as it doesnt support HD material, and HD material is glorious.

"Mind you, some games did it quite well (like Goldeneye), but even then you just get this really low resolution box (320x240) to yourself."

oh goldeneye was much lower than 320x240! 640x480 is the n64s maximum resolution, but really no game could run that. goldeneye was likely at 320x240, so for 4 player split-screen, thats only 80x60!

Oh, Does anyone know if they will delete the minecraft license tied to your account. I like the fact that i can play online but my mate came round not so long ago and wanted to do split screen. We didnt know what the issue was until recently when i asked google.

BlackScythe A lot of people including me do not have HD TV's. Yes theyre not rare but like me i have a Fully functioning SDTV that works. No point letting it go to waste so ill continue to use that until its done for. Or my family decide to buy me one as everyone in my household has one apart from me.

Luckily I have HD but damn Microsoft. What is with them and pushing away from the little people? Not everyone has an HD TV. Pretty sure they had to have known that prior to the game's release...
I always like people making posts like this as though HD tvs are some rare item only a few people have.

They probably didn't care much.

But it's not so much that they're shitting on SDTV owners so much that playing quad splitscreen on an SDTV looks a bit shit.

Mind you, some games did it quite well (like Goldeneye), but even then you just get this really low resolution box (320x240) to yourself.
