Ok, so let's say it is the same price. Then WHAT is the motivation to get an xbox over a PS3? Don't get me wrong, I like xbox. PS3 is just way better.
I don't want to start a war here; to each his own.
People have preferences, that's all.
I for one prefer the 360's design far more than the PS3, and the fact that I can carry a much more reliable online party on an Xbox, though I do take a liking to Sony's free online service as well, as well to a lot of their PS3 exclusives and variety of classic PSX games. Some people like the PS3, others like the 360. Some, like me, like both. We all have our reasons, and not everyone can like the same thing.
Not to mention, I think that Xbox Live has a much larger community over PSN, and has a tad bit more features as well.
Thank you for not arguing. I am so sick of not being able to voice my opinion without starting a battle over which system is better. I like PS3 for its exclusives, graphics, XMB, controller, and free online. You like 360 for a larger online community etc. Everyone has an opinion.
Excuse me sir. 'Some people like PS3. Some people like Xbox.'
&some of us like the Wii too! lol it had great games besides its weaker online capabilities.. still gave an enjoyable experience.. and I don't get the same level of fun from an xbox or ps3. (Besides my NHL fixture &a few games.. halo maybe)..
Hmph.

Thank you for another essential article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a complete way of writing? I have a presentation incoming week, and I am on the lookout for such information.

Except microsoft has everything in the box minus the cheapest (now extinct) core version or whatever from '06.

Sony on the other hand seems to enjoy taking their money and burning it in the least efficient way possible. If they don't learn from their mistakes (a 4rth time) I fully expect the console to be high priced (but still sold at a loss) with almost no bells and whistles attached. Much like the vita.
What are you talking about? Everything in the box? No charger and no rechargeable batteries. Plus you have to pay for Xbox live. Xbox is not cheaper.
Lol no batteries? Really the best you can think of? It has all the bells and whistles. you don't need xbox live to enjoy it, just like you don't need PSN.
You keep saying "bells and whistles", but what do you mean by that? Can you give some examples, just so that I understand?
Everything needed to run the console properly and play games...properly. Console, Controller, harddrive (no matter how low), in many cases depending on bundle, kinect and xblive (not required to play games).

The xbox, PS3, Wii, etc. brings everything necessary to the table. My statement was Sony's money grabbing technique with the Vita to lower costs and have us spend more out of the box JUST to play games.
Fair enough, but the point here is that my brother spent less money on his PS3 than he would have on his xbox.
Considering the only thing that will cost extra is xbl and you can get that pretty cheap if you know where to look...

I have a really bad feeling about this system for some reason...
This and Microsoft's system, which is why I decided to go towards the pc master race route.

Nintendo will reign supreme once more
Sony/Microsoft shall be never more
HEIL NINTENDO!!!

Ded Valve More a question of when rather than if.
I can't wait to spend $399 USD on the PS4! *controller, power cables, vga cables, disc slot, harddrive not included*

This isn't a Microsoft system... Everything you'll need will be in the box.
