GameStop has begun stocking prepaid Steam cards, ads on the retailer's website confirm. Good news for PC gamers who may not have any means of online payment.
The Steam cards, called "Steam Wallet," should be available at all U.S. GameStop locations, and buyers can snag them in either $20 or $50 denominations. If your local store doesn't stock any, we imagine they will soon enough.
Valve's director of business development Jason Holtman commented briefly on the news:
"Offering Steam Wallet codes at GameStop extends more options and convenience to gamers around to the world."
Not that this comes as a huge shock or anything. Rumors of the Valve-GameStop deal came about last week when an image of one such Steam Wallet card was leaked.
