Microsoft heralds Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition with live stream event

Viewers can win an Xbox signed by Notch
Today marks Minecraft's debut on Xbox 360, as the final installment in Microsoft's latest XBLA event, Arcade NEXT. NEXT started April 18 with Trials Evolution and concludes today with Mojang's insanely popular Minecraft, for a rather hefty 1600 MP.
It's a franchise that's come to carry a lot of weight, and to celebrate its console release, Microsoft is hosting a special live stream event this evening on Twitch.TV, featuring pro gamer "SeaNanners" and a number of other special guests. They'll be playing the game, of course, and offering their thoughts. The biggest incentive to watch, however, may be the opportunity to win a copy of the game and an Xbox 360 signed by creator Markus "Notch" Persson. Now there's a guy who needs no introductions.

I still don't like 'Minecraft' saga as well...Still too much hype for first-person digging game...Good Games program in Australia had talked about it a lot!
