Battlefield 3 had an affect on cod lol
And all developers are jumping on dx11 train to get more familiar with the API coding for next gen of consoles, one API feature at a time, while we pc users enjoyed dx 11 since holiday 2009!

Still great news.

dx11 optimisations doesnt really mean it will come out looking fantastic. looking at the release trailer it doesn't look that impressive, graphically, nor does it look like a massive improvement compared to the other games.
hopefully they increase the difficulty and quality of the game compared to the first black ops.
Keep in mind the game has six months more to be developed and polished up, and the one view we have of the graphical quality is a reveal trailer, so if the full game comes out how it looks now, Treyarch has some explaining to do...

That being said, Black Ops did look a bit lackluster compared to Modern Warfare 2, so I certainly won't put any look past them.

And people keep saying it has bad graphics... I can't wait to see how this looks!

Well, that's step one. Hopefully this will turn out a little bit better than Modern Warfare 3 did on PC. I've been back and forth between favoring Treyarch/Infinity Ward over the other; just adding some simple PC optimization can easily seal the deal for the former.

Also, slightly off topic: I wonder what crazy kill streaks have been invented in the wonderful year of 2025...
