Days after a marketing survey confirmed a potential Rayman platformer that takes place an ancient Greece setting of dragons and marathons, more rumors abound. Ubisoft has snatched up the domains RaymanLegends.com and Rayman-Legends.com, which seems like an appropriate title for a game set in Greek mythology. At least it's not called "Hercules vs. the Raving Rabbids," right? Ha... don't get any ideas Ubisoft.
Coincidentally, the title Rayman Legends showed up in an Ubisoft listing of games to be shown at last year's E3. In a playable form, no less! The listing proved false, though the title reappearing as E3 approaches once more seems suspicious. The theory being Rayman Legends was or is a Wii U title, and the call was made to save it for this year's E3. This way greater hype is built for both the game and console.
More Rayman platforming action sounds like a good thing right about now. Whether it's a sequel to Rayman Origins or just a follow-up with built-in Wii U gimmicks, Rayman Legends will surely be a great looking, fun to play title.
