Max Payne 3 system requirements revealed, screens show off high-end graphics
Hope your hard drive isn't too full
Rockstar seems to be pushing the PC version of action game Max Payne 3 pretty hard lately, boasting about DirectX 11 features and supplying a steady stream of screens. In that department, we've got three new ones which still don't show raw gameplay but boy do they sure look purdy.
Besides that we've got system requirements for you. The developer keeps saying the game will be quite scalable, and if these are anything to go by, it will be indeed. The 35GB of required hard drive space is disconcerting, however, it could be a testament to just how much content is included. Grand Theft Auto IV, for example, was 16GB, while its "Complete Edition" spanned 32GB.

At the end of the day, the high-end graphics surely can't sugar-coat the weak storyline, design, repetitiveness and mundane gameplay...I suppose
A mid range, at the time, computer I built four years ago could run this game. You surely don't need $4k for even the highest configuration listed above.
I'm not worried about the system specs but rather the hard drive space consumption. What exactly are they putting in there? I hope it's all content rather than shiny graphics.
