Pretty graphics.. My assumptions were correct this game is going to look like Crysis 2 with all the packs installed and then some. This is going to push some rigs to the limit..

I think people tended to be too critical of crysis2s graphics. After dx11 and the high res texture pack, i thought it outshined crysis1 fairly easily. Really, for me, i was only blown away by crysis1s graphics after a lot of mods.... But then again i *hated* crysis1s level design so im pretty biased.

Heres hoping next-gen consoles will allow cryengine4 to be something really special.

I agree. I think many let their disappointment of A. Crysis 2 being on console and B. Not being the massive step up visually, affect their enjoyment of the title. I actually thought from a lighting and visual standpoint Crysis 2 was head and shoulders above Crysis without the packs.

Crysis 2 was also an exercise of restraint. They were trying to get this un-wieldy beast of an engine under control. I mean Crysis is still a game today that barely gets over 80FPS maxed out on a GTX 680 and it's close to 6 years old now. Sure Crysis 2 went insane when the packs released as to run both needed a truly over-powered rig, but it seems now they have optimised the engine fully Crysis 3 is all about pushing graphics to the limit again.. I welcome that.
