Crysis 3 teaser trailer teases full trailer on April 24
We heard you liked the jungle and New York, so we put the jungle inside of New York
You guys probably enjoy these teaser trailers and posts as much as I enjoy writing them. Nonetheless, maybe there's more to this teaser than meets the eye, and so it must be posted. CryTek put out this Crysis 3 teaser earlier this morning, which ends with a message promising a full gameplay trailer on April 24.
Crysis 3 was only officially announced earlier this week, and this teaser gives us our first look at the changes that have occurred to New York City since Crysis 2. For example, it is now a jungle. Other differences include our nanosuit-wearing hero having a compound bow. There's literally only about 7 or 8 seconds of game footage, so I think we've gotten as much as we could from the teaser.
At this time, I'd to clarify that we will be creating a post about Crysis 3's full trailer on April 24. Consider this a teaser post for the upcoming post. Yeah, we're getting all meta now.

Heres hoping next-gen consoles will allow cryengine4 to be something really special.
Crysis 2 was also an exercise of restraint. They were trying to get this un-wieldy beast of an engine under control. I mean Crysis is still a game today that barely gets over 80FPS maxed out on a GTX 680 and it's close to 6 years old now. Sure Crysis 2 went insane when the packs released as to run both needed a truly over-powered rig, but it seems now they have optimised the engine fully Crysis 3 is all about pushing graphics to the limit again.. I welcome that.
