Originally shown at E3 2010, Sorcery was one of the best reasons many people were interested in the PlayStation Move. Unfortunately, at the time, it was more of a tech demo than an actual game. Two years later it looks like Sorcery will finally see its big release, arriving in retail on May 23. To celebrate, a new story trailer for the game has been made available.
Take on the role of an arcane apprentice who mistakenly releases the Nightmare Queen at the behest of your troublesome kitty familiar. With a trusty wand, the young apprentice will have to battle the Queen's generically evil army of trolls and other green soldiers. Though you don't earn the title of Nightmare Queen without having a few tricks up your sleeve, so expect some likely physics-based surprises as well.
Seeing as games that require the PlayStation Move are so few and far between, let alone good games, Sorcery might be last must-buy motion-controlled title for the PlayStation 3. Heck, who knows if Sony will even keep motion controls for its next console? So treat yourself to one last wagglefest and pick up Sorcery on May 23. After all, yer a wizard, 'arry.
