Nintendo to localize Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition DS crossover
Enter the age of loosely historical Pokémon wargaming
First the franchise implied that kids should be out of the house by the age of 10, and now it would have them assume the title of "young warlord." *sniff* Kids are growing up so fast these days thanks to Pokémon, but Nintendo looks to be going for broader appeal with Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition.
Now the DS crossover strategy RPG title, developed by Tecmo Koei, will be seeing an international release this June 18th under the equally international moniker Pokémon Conquest.
To recap, Pokémon Conquest is inspired by the historical Warring States period of feudal Japan where rival daimyo and warlords, as envisioned by Tecmo Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition and Samurai Warriors series of games, struggle for the land of Ransei through intrigue and good ol' fashioned military engagement.
Here of course that means teaming up with Nintendo's Pokémon to kick Nobunaga's butt in turn-based strategy RPG battles, and you're thrust in the middle of all this with Pokémon partner Eevee (Pikachu wasn't historical enough to be your starter). You'll be recruiting fellow warriors and warlords, paired with their own Pokémon allies, to join your cause.

Hopefully it's good.
I seem strangely excited but I'm not sure why 0.- the mixture of pokemon or the fact that it just now sounds so freaking epic, since it's not longer impossible lol. even the fact it's a strategy turn based game, I will surely get this.
