So what this is telling us is that DLC was added into the game to make sure it would work then removed from the disk so it could not be hacked therby forcing people who want the DLC to buy it. Seems like reasonable business sense to me. Bottom line is don't like it don't buy the DLC but go ahead and buy the game if you like it.

But if it was put on disc to see if it would work as DLC, then why take it off the disc? If it can be put on the disc before production but they don't then make us pay for it as DLC later that's wrong, from a consumers point of view lol.

Reason why I was happy Nintendo didn't have DLC. Alas, they had to change that.

DLC was a good idea from the start, but companies like capcom ruined it by being greedy assholes. I think you shouldn't be allowed to release DLC that was available before launch and/or you can't release DLC for at least a few months after launch.

Putting something incomplete on the disc and making plans to add the missing pieces later through download.
That's acceptable.
Putting something that's 100% complete on the disc and telling someone to buy it so they can actually use it.
That's beyond stupid.

Or is it pure genius? if people buy that DLC regardless then we're the stupid ones :/ although I'm pretty sure you thought this too -.-
