I think they should make CPU or not multiplayer that you could play offline because after the campaign it gets real boring
You can play it offline, both split-screen and system link. In fact halo is known for pretty much revolutionising console multiplayer because of system link Halo CE. It's a given this will also be available in Halo 4.

If they can pull off true 720p and have the textures to compliment it, I'd be very imrpessed if it still worked more effectively than Reach. That being said I have every faith in 343 that what they release will be top-notch.
Yeah, depends on how you look at it. Could mean it's been optimized to run smoothly, or that it's been pushed too far. Hopefully it's at least kept out of multiplayer. Forge World and Condemned always have frame drop problems for me.

I'd rather wait for a 2013 release if it means not playing an FPS on the outdated hardware in the 360. I mean last Halo that felt like it played smoothly was Halo 3, Reach had shockingly inconsistent framerates that were exacerbated by the joystick controls. Thats not even mentioning that the low resolution made the AA on the fine objects the reach engine tried to render (like grass and foliage) look horrendous.
Hopefully 343 doesn't push the graphics to far or they get the go ahead from MS for a PC version.
The timing is just off. It's been in development since before Reach released.

The graphics do look to be an improvement over Reach. It's hard to say if they're pushing it too hard or not. I do know it's now truly 720p unlike before. That could be a sign that they've optimized the game greatly over Reach.

I agree with you there Kash, but I don't think the next Xbox is out for quite a while. Reach has that horrible freezeframe thing all the time which I'd hate to see ever again.

Wow that looks cool. I bet that since its a close quarters map, there will be plenty of fun weapon equivalents of energy swords and gravity hammers.

I'm probably gonna end up buying an Xbox when I'm in Whistler just so I can play it for the 5 months I'm there. Totally psyched.

It's great to see 343 putting so much effort into the Halo 4 multiplayer to really get the franchise back on its feet again. After the farce bungie made of Reach's multiplayer this will be a good way to win back the fans. And yes Reach was a farce, the multiplayer maps were all either Forge world or lifted from campaign and the general MM would've been laughed at by the original dev. team. Can't wait to actual play this beast!
