Funny thing, where's the studies that actually prove this? It's been tested, time and time again since the days of Doom, and there has been near zero correlation between the two... At least none that were ultimately caused by the games, some people are just *bleep*ed up and happen to play games.

Those idiotic congressmen shouldn't be focused on the gaming industry. If anything, they should be more concerned about launching a price gouging investigation at Big Oil and trying to limit the prices of gasoline instead of wasting the taxpayer's time and money on this crap.

Lol. Wanna know what stirs up aggressiveness and this whole "party generation" we have? The music and parents. The music introduces kids as young as 6-7 (from what I've seen) to things like partying and clubbing, using music from artists such as LMFAO, Katy Perry, and a handful of other "in" artists right now. All of that trashy music is being introduced to kids, which not only makes them introduced to alcohol, partying/clubbing, and boy/girlfriend troubles too early, but it also gives them a sense of defiance. As for the parents, parents who just don't give a rat's ass and are the same way that their kids have now become makes them aggressive, along with the friends that they hang out with. Again, this also ties with the sense of defiance kids get from music nowadays.

So whoever proposed this is just seeking attention or money for a useless cause.

Damn they are retarded. They're too stupid to deal with our real problems so they just come up with they're own. Really? I've been playing Saints Row and related games for a while and you don't see me running around town hitting people with big purple ***** or anything of the sort.

We already have have huge mother*bleep*ing symbols saying
"M - Mature 17+" or "T - Teen" on the box.

If idiotic parents are going to buy their kids Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto with the video game equivalent of Parental Advisory stickers on music, this warning (which doesn't have nearly enough proof) is going to do anything.

Really sad this came about in 2009 and it wasn't squashed out back then. Instead Baca and Leland Yee dumped tax money into these efforts without considering the impact on programs actually designed to help the children they profess to care about so much.

Let's see, Leland Yee's proposition was... oh that's right denied completely and the state had to pay for both parties costs. I'm sure that Baca using selective fact finding will fair much better to fake his connections to these issues he's claiming. Too bad there can't be a stipulation that if this plan fails Baca has to reimburse the state out of pocket for knowingly wasting state funds.

Instead of trying to become political celebrities making bogus bills "for the children" they should focus on actually contributing to the state instead. Video games have warning labels already, this isn't a bad pimp my ride meme where you say "I heard you like redundancy so I put a warning label about the warning labels on yo gamez dawg"

You would be surprised, they aren't much better. Certianly not as bad as Australia but still.
