Claptrap to Borderlands 2 PC fans: "Let's make this work, baby"
Extensive feature list confirmed
In the most creative and hilarious attempt at appeasing PC gamers we've ever seen, Gearbox Software Claptrap has confirmed a long list of PC features for Borderlands 2, and professed their his committment and undying love for you in the process. This comes after last year's community query on this topic. A sample from the love letter:
"Now, I know we've both said some things we wish we could take back. You might have said the PC version of Borderlands had some issues, and I might have called you too attractive once or twice. But that's all behind us now, baby. Claptrap's gonna make it all right."
"I'm makin' something brand new. It's called Borderlands 2, and it's just for you. Sure, I may be sharing it with those fine ladies on the 360 and PS3, but they don't have what WE have. The passion. The sensuality. The improved native multiplayer matchmaking."
"PS. I've also got integrated V-Sync options. That's so hot, I don't even know what it means. But I'm willing to experiment."
Comedy gold aside, here's the list:
- FOV slider
- 100% mouse usable menus/mouse wheel scrolling
- Remappable key bindings for keyboard/mouse
- PC specific UI
- Native multiplayer matchmaking
- Push to talk
- Logitech keyboard support
- LAN support (including offline mode)
- Control pad support
- Integrated V-Sync option
- Support for higher resolutions
- Mouse smoothing options (can be disabled completely)
- Cloud save support
- Achievement support
- Friends list support
- No port forwarding required
Wonderful stuff. If the game isn't on your watch list, it should be now.

Looking forward to the game all the more now.
Means I can buy a physical copy and still have it on steam. Hope for a nice Special Edition.
