Movie-game adaptations aren't always bad. Just look at Chronicles of Riddick and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Beenox, who happen to be quite familiar with the Spider-Man franchise, seem intent on giving The Amazing Spider-Man the same treatment.
Speaking with Activision producer Doug Heder, we're offered a little more insight into the upcoming Spider-Man game, which despite ties to the movie could very well be a solid, standalone superhero game. One of the biggest changes in the game is the return to New York and a free roam, open world environment. Heder notes that longtime fans should find the open city a familiar element.
