The sequel to the godfather of post-apocalyptic RPGs has secured its fan funding in just two days through Kickstarter. Though we doubted a Wasteland 2 was viable like the Double Fine adventure due to its obscurity, it's succeeding as nearly as quick a rate.
The minimum amount required was set at $900,000, which InXile founder Brian Fargo says he understands was kind of high, but they "could not have done [it] justice with just 300-400k."
With 33 days left to go, the total currently sits at a little over $1,000,000. If they hit $1,250,000, the plan is to add more content and depth, and more again at $1,500,000, plus Mac, Linux, and maybe even tablet support.
