Another classic villain was revealed today for the upcoming not-quite movie-game adaptation, The Amazing Spider-Man. Right, we're talking about Iguana, one of the earliest villains in the series.
The man-beast gets a modern makeover for the film and the game, bearing more of his original reptilian traits. In the game, he'll be able to use a scream or mind control powers to influence other creatures infected by the cross-species virus.
The Amazing Spider-Man game, while based on the upcoming summer film, will actually be a follow-up to the movie rather than a direct adaptation. Should be interesting to see how that goes, especially given developer Beenox's mixed results with their earlier two Spider-Man games, Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time.
