In an interesting and brow-raising development, key members of Lionhead's Fable team have left the studio to form their own, named "Another Place Productions."
These key devs include Fable franchise art director John McCormack, technical director Guillaume Portes, and executive producer Jeremie Texier. Leading the bunch are Fable creators Dene and Simon Carter, who previously ran Big Blue Box before it was bought up by Lionhead and Microsoft.
The goal of Another Place is to create "high-quality, meaningful experiences that will inspire audiences worldwide." We can only imagine what fueled this departure, but many gamers no doubt already have their theories, given the drastic changes that Fable has undergone since the franchise first began.
