I really don't see what all or you are complaining about. As long as these games come out, we'll keep buying them. Also, it doesn't really matter which they release the game for, DS or 3DS, since inevitably they will release Pokemon games specifically for the 3DS. I am a Nintendo fan to the end, and stand by this decision made by one of the greatest game companies the world has ever known. So, to all those of you who can't find anything to do but complain about things you can't control... get over it! Go play Black and White some more! Keep the gaming legend that is Pokemon alive well into the future! GO NINTENDO!!
The thing is normally company move to the new console so they can improve even further and add many new things since old console have more limits.

They should of made this pokemon for the 3ds so it takes advantage of the 3ds new limits and new hardwares. Its just the company being lazy, if they make it for the 3ds then they have to use 3d technology which they won't use.

Yeah, does anyone not realise that the fact it's on the DS is because it's pretty much an updated Black and white right ?

If they made the games for the 3DS they would have to code the game from the ground up as DS games and 3DS games are coded differently.

I think its just pure lazy to not move games into new generations, then it be like no point in buying the new console.

Pokemon, as a franchise, is marketed to a very wide audience. Not just to people who fancy themselves gamers specifically. Putting B/W2 on the DS allows them to market to that audience.

The series will move to the 3DS when the handheld itself is a little more mainstream. Though I'd be a little surprised if the next game in the series didn't branch out onto the 3DS.

I personally think they should keep the 5th gen games on the DS,and move to the 3DS for 6th gen.

Lorx there has it right. The next games in the series after Black and White Versions 2 will probalbly be for the 3DS, after it has become more mainstream. I would be surprised, too if they didn't. Again, I don't see what people are complaining about. All of us Pokemon fans have stuck with the series this long, there's no reason to get upset over Nintendo trying to keep its fanbase. It's just good business, which we've bought into for years.

Nintendo's trying to key in on a specific market (ironically being "the every man" market), and using the DS as the main platform is the best decision for that.
This guy right here is smart.

Your right, DS games don't look so good on the 3ds, so in a way we 3ds user are being sort of left out. Heck there is no good pokemon game on the nintendo 3ds.

And then Pokemon Gray releases to the 3DS to further milk the B&W fame.

Anyone bitching about it not being on the 3DS.
The 3DS isn't selling like the DS did, and most people are still sticking to the DS until something big comes up on the 3DS. Yes, this could have been it, but Nintendo probably realizes that most of its fanbase would prefer to stick to the system they already have. That's the DS.
Then again, maybe I'm just smarter than some of you when I decided to keep my DS when I bought my 3DS.

My parents can't afford a 3DS and then we'd have to buy a $30 game! I need it to stay on DS, pleeease pleeease pleease...!!! Speaking of PokéMasters, look at my name! I own 5 Pokémon games, 3 of which are beaten! I was SOOO excited about these games too... Stupid Nintendo™ I know a few other people that can't get a 3DS either and are so excited their saying the same thing 50 times over! That's all I have to say. I WILL defend my point.

I don't have anything against the Nintendo DS, I think the Nintendo DSI XL is a brilliant handheld console, but the problem is why must we 3ds user be denied of a pokemon main game on the 3ds.

I know that DS games work on the 3ds so we can play it on the 3ds, but playing DS games on a 3ds doesn't look so good, I tried some DS games on the 3ds, looks worse on it.
