Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta application opened to all
Take Valve's survey for a chance to get in the beta
Over the last week, thousands of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta keys were sent out to hopeful CSS and CS 1.6 players. As of today, the number of testers sits somewhere around 9,000.
If you're not one of the those lucky 9,000 testers, don't worry, because more invites are on the way. Today, Valve opened up the Global Offensive online survey for prospective testers, and the next wave of keys will be going out based on the survey.
The survey is split in two parts: a short questionnaire and a hardware survey via Steam. "There are no wrong answers," says Valve.
Over the coming months we will make selections from the survey participants. Sometimes we might add experienced players, other times new players. Sometimes 1.6 players, sometimes CSS players, sometimes people who have played neither.
Valve is encouraging interested parties to fill out the survey today, since the keys will start going out as early as next week. Active Global Offensive players will continue receiving gift keys.
