Time for a practice run
Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can finally get some hands-on time with SSX by grabbing a demo from Xbox LIVE or PSN on February 21. European PS3 users have to wait an extra day before having a go with the trial.
The demo only has Zoe as a playable character though you can unlock Mac by "referring a friend" (we're not sure about the specifics regarding referrals but we'll post details if we find information about it). Ridernet will be enabled in the demo plus a couple tutorials cover some basics and skydiving.
SSX ships out to retailers on February 28 in the U.S. and March 2 in Europe.

Actually, Eddie may be returning again. Certain gamestops have pre-order posters, they offer a character, who may or may not be eddie. Possibly, it could be that he's gotten another makeover. If not, the poster portrays a new "afro dude" character for those who pre-order the game.

A Person Eddie has sadly only be in two SSX games, one being as a cheat character. Not too surprising he's not the demo rider.
