Assassin's Creed III announced for October 30
A little earlier than expected
So Ezio is gone, leaving us with Desmond, but that boy's trilogy will be ending this fall when Assassin's Creed III. During a quarter review conference call, Ubisoft announced the game as a part of their 2012 lineup, but already expected it, given the company's promise to wrap up Desmond's tale this year.
What we learned, however, is that fifth Assassin's Creed (eleventh including handheld and mobile spin-offs) will be out on October 30, less than a year following Revelations. Until now, every installment has managed to land in November.
At this point, that's all we know about Assassin's Creed III, but you can be sure we'll be hearing way more from Ubi from this point forward.

Still haven't even started Rev's single player...
Considering the short development time, I expect there will be a lack of polish/glitch which will be usually fixed through DLCs!
I wonder which city/location will be the playground in AC III? Perhaps in Munich? or Macao?
Assume this game will be good in the same ways, and the multiplayer even better than Revelations.
...unless he's 500 years old.
but that turns out to be the revelationwhat would be really cool is if they let you go not only between the 13 colonies but also to Great Britain, France, Canada, etc., as well.
