Skyrim dragon mounts, house-building, giant enemy crab, Kinect shouts appear in Bethesda montage
Shows off amusing internal mods created by Skyrim devs for fun
While giving the opening keynote at DICE Summit this week, Bethesda's Todd Howard revealed what might just be the greatest "official" Skyrim video ever. Referred to as "Skyrim Game Jam" by developers, the montage shown during Howard's presentation is comprised of numerous gameplay features not found in the final game, like snow footprints and (holy crap) dragon mounts.
So what's the story behind the video? When Elder Scrolls V was about finished, the dev team was given a week to play around with the game and add anything they could possibly dream of. Naturally, they went nuts and came up with a ton of random and amazing stuff that'll make you laugh and drool. Fat giants, were-bears, custom home-building, adoption, more vampirism perks, spears, magically charged arrows, dragon mounts... Okay, you know what, just watch the video.
Of course, the video itself references VH1's classic Pop-Up Video, which is hilarious and kind of awesome in its own right. Now keep in mind the features you're about to see are purely internal, though Howard has teased the possibility of releasing them as paid DLC or in free updates. Just don't get your hopes up.

Best part about this video (other than that it's hilarious), half of this stuff (if not more) will be up in the Steam Workshop within a week.
Looking forward to combining the Posh Mudcrabs mod with a Giant Enemy Crab mod!

Dragon mounts... just... wow.
Scumbag Bethesda. What's the matter with you?
