Special Survival, Tekken Card, and more
Tekken 3D Prime Edition's February 14 release is not too far away from now (February 17 for Europe) but there's still a bit of a wait. Fortuneately, Tekken fans can pass the time by having a look at a new batch of screenshots that show off Prime Edition's modes.
Like other fighting games out there, you have your traditional Practice and Versus modes (the latter having local and online multiplayer). Quick Battle pits you against ten random CPU fighters while Special Survival challenges you to fight up to 40 opponents with just one lifebar. It's worth noting every tenth match in Special Survival forces you to damage your rival by pulling off aerial combos.
As you play Prime Edition, you'll earn CP that can be spent in Tekken Card to unlock over 700 images from past Tekken games, which can be a nice little nostalgia trip for longtime fans. You can also unlock images through StreetPass though the pictures you receive is set by other players. Keep on fighting and you'll eventually unlock every picture.
