If you haven't heard, Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is finally making its way to Xbox 360 in April. Come April 17, at least a portion of the console crowd will be able to play CD Projekt's formerly PC-only RPG.
Along with the release date announcement yesterday was mention of an "Enhanced Edition," a free upgrade for anyone who buys the game new (and while supplies last). In addition to the game, this version includes a hard copy of the soundtrack, quest handbook, and physical world map. If you already own a PC copy of the game, the Enhanced contents will be made available to you as well.
What'll cost you extra is the Collector's Edition, or "Dark Edition." Dark bundles together everything in the Enhanced version plus a "Making of" DVD, Witcher wolf head medallion and chain (all metal), a hardcore 232-page artbook, some stickers, and a special box. No word on pricing yet, though we've reached out to CD Projekt in hopes of confirmation. That said, we're not expecting a huge figure.
Pre-order incentives are also being offered via three North American retailers. Reserve the game through Amazon.com for a digital comic, Best Buy for a t-shirt, and GameStop for a wolf head keychain. You can check out the latter two below; that t-shirt actually looked really nice.
