Kingdom Hearts 3D screens show off Fantasia, TRON: Legacy worlds

Dream Eaters are easy to raise
A boatload of screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] have been released today, putting the spotlight on new worlds based on The Three Musketeers, Fantasia, and TRON: Legacy. Sora and Riku also get to visit some familiar places like Yen Sid's Mysterious Tower and Traverse Town.
Several screens reveal your Dream Eater partners have simple stats to manage (Attack, Magic, and Defense) plus you can ride a Dream Eater to perform special attacks. There are also interactive Wonder Comics presented at certain points to keep the story moving along.
Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be released later this year for Nintendo 3DS. Have a look at the Jump Festa trailer for some gameplay footage.

I thought the characters were your partners, not the Dream Eaters. Weird.

The Dream Eaters are both enemies and partners in KH3D. The friendly ones are of the "Spirit" type while the "Nightmare" variants have red eyes and darker bodies.

It seems like it might open up a lot of combination possibilities if that's what they were looking for, but I'll miss using the characters.

Nice to finally see screenshots of the rest of the TWEWY cast in this game....Also,I'm shocked to actually see Rhyme in it too.
