SSX lets you play against friends even when they're offline

Another good reason to look forward to SSX: it lets you compete against friends, even when they're not online. 

How it works is in "Explore" mode, every one of your runs and your friends' is uploaded to the servers, so the next time you decide to give it a go, you'll see your friends' "ghosts", and can study their technique and try to beat their score, which earns you credits. Conversely, if your friend tries to beat your score and loses, you'll get some credits for that, too.

We wouldn't be surprised to see this kind of thing catch on and be featured in many games releasing in the next few years and beyond.
