Rory Read has stated that they have no plans on leaving the desktop space in the future but they will be adding more focus to low power parts, obviously because of the tablet 'boom' and intel investing in low power x86 parts. They're following trends, not dropping out.

The pricing on the warranties is pretty awesome, liking the idea and hope that AMD follows up soon.
