Awesome! I knew my gut was right. I'm glad I'm with Nintendo; the 3DS got too big of a head start for the Vita to do well.

There is nothing wrong with Vita, its technically a great system. But Nintendo has the drop on sony in every possible way. Better games and more of them, better pricing and more bigger names appearing first on their system (Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts ect).
Add the fact of poor marketing + pricing to have backwards compatibility + account restraints = a unhappy user base.

If more big titles get announced and they drop the price and/or remove pay-to-play for psp titles at least they can come around hopefully.

For God's sake, PSP is still doing better than the Vita which is I think still 'overpriced' especially in Australia.

If Sony truly wants to compete with Nintendo 3DS, the price of Vita must be the same as 3DS even at the expense of salaries of CEOs of SCEI & Sony overall.

I like Vita but I can bet that 3DS will be the highest selling portable console for many years to come..

P.S. I'm glad that I made a right decision to buy a 3DS before the Vita is out

Maybe. Choose the handheld that meets your needs. I think it's still worth the money.

vincent you get around 9 hours of nonstop music with the PSVita. There is also an external battery coming out a month after the US release that triples the battery life.
Well it outsold the Wii &360,so that's something right?

The 3DS has a life of 4-5 hours for most activities; 5-7 hours when playing DS games. Double that with an external battery pack.
Source: I've owned a 3DS for about 10 months now.
