Remember that funky cross-game suit of armor you could snag for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origin? Yeah, Blood Dragon armor was probably not the hottest gear we've ever seen, but EA is keen to try again with two of their new RPGs.
This time, the publisher is using Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning to promote each other. By playing both upcoming demos, you can snag a set of Mass Effect-esque armor and Omni-blades for use in Kingsoms of Amalur, plus Reckoning-themed armor and assault rifle in Mass Effect 3. Apparently the latter set was designed by Todd McFarlane, so that's kinda cool.
Even so, the Reckoning gear for ME3 might not jive with everyone's tastes. It does look rather out of place, even if we do find it more appealing overall than the Blood Dragon armor. That said, the Mass Effect armor for Reckoning looks pretty sweet.
