Looks like Ubisoft isn't quite ready to let the world see Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The next Tom Clancy shooter was originally due out on consoles (and handhelds) on March 6, the same day as EA's Mass Effect 3, but the French publisher is putting off release until late May.
Now Future Soldier is being released May 22 to North America and May 24 to Europe, with a multiplayer beta scheduled for April -- on Xbox 360 and PS3, anyway. Should tide you over until May, right?
Ubisoft wasn't too specific about the reason behind this delay, except to say that the developers needed more time to "ensure" Future Soldier is up to snuff. A PC version has also been confirmed, though information on that is pretty scant for the moment. All we know about Future Soldier PC is that it'll be out some time after the other versions.
