Seems the gaming industry just can't catch a break ever since that highly publicised PSN incident. The latest victim is Trion Worlds, who recently discovered "unauthorized intruders" accessing an account database. This particular database housed a plethora of user information: passwords, usernames, birth dates, email and billing addresses, and limited credit card information (first and last four digits, plus expiration date).
In an effort to keep everyone calm, Trion did mention that no evidence suggests full credit card information was accessed. Since the intrusion, they've bolstered security and apologized profusely. If you're still actively playing their RIFT MMO, your next login should entail a notice to update your password. Doing so will net you the in-game "Moneybags' Purse" item and three days of play time.
But seriously, even if you're not actively playing the game, we highly suggest changing your password.
