Quantity =/= Quality

Looks, sounds, feels, and plays almost identical to MW2 with little changes. It's an alright game but not worth $60 in my book.

Surprise surprise! Fantastic game, even if it isn't a drastic departure.

Having never playing MW (or 2), I feel like its a great purchase Some of the maps feel familiar even to Black Ops but that's okay to me, it is still quite enjoyable.

If you had played MW2 you'd see that MW3 is basically just a reskin and you wouldn't feel like it's a great purchase.

Gamer's are easily coaxed into doing just about anything given a good marketing strategy. The middle-man in the gaming industry is the most profitable job int he world right now as his demographic is as intelligent as a cockroach.

1. Neoseeker - why am I brought to a seperate log-in screen in order to log in? Why not have it above the comment box?

2. BF3 will outsell MW3 in the long run, simply because it has more replay value and more production value. MW3 is just like a M&M's or Coke, EVERYONE is familiar with the addicting taste, even though theres so many tastier beverages, you'll stick to what you're used to. Unfortunately, the gaming population has grown and grown with MW leading the pack. Gamers know MW is not a great game, in fact, it does little to portray the war genre. BF3 captures every nuance and the essence of War. Also, it takes skill, which MW players don't want.

But do you get to kill a rat in a QTE cinematic?
...yeah. I thought not.

Apart from so many games are pretty much "re-skins" but yet because it's CoD people will find anything to complain at it.

They'd get more sales if they made a new engine. Running a four year old engine with out ever updating it is not a good strategy.

I'm sure that CoD 3 can still reatin its higher status/quality in the crowded FPS genere..

Definitely doesn't deserve it. IMO, There are much better games coming out around the launch of this game(Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Skyward Sword), and is the same as Modern Warfare with barely any effort put into it, yet still rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars.
