See Battlefield 2 re-imagined and in action
The first official screenshots for the Battlefield 2 quasi-remake Back to Karkand debuted last week, and now a trailer is in, showing all four maps in their newfound glory.
PC players should note Sharqi, Oman, and Karkand each feature seven flags, so if you were let down by the vanilla maps, these should please you. Also, Conquest Assault mode is back. For those unfamiliar, in this mode, one team has to capture all flags to prevent the other from being able to spawn; the other team has to defend the flags.
Karkand, it seems now, is free to anyone with Battlefield 3 Limited Edition, not just those who pre-ordered.

The reasons for showing mostly PC footage are simple: it looks best on PC, and it's a sequel to Battlefield 2, a PC only game.
BlackLabel Getting footage for PC is easier as most of the game's developed on a PC, plus as Chautemoc pointed out, better graphics.
-My point.
And that's not to say the console versions of BF3 aren't great, but PC has the edge and is the lead platform. PC version of MW3 actually seems pretty good too, though the unranked dedicated servers thing kind of kills it.
