Kudos to you Ncjpr1993 as I am a fellow current 3DS owner as well.
Be aware that it may be something down the line where your friend COULD indeed play full PS3 games on the Vita... They will rub that in your face all day. EVERY day.
I honestly don't see how, except by the already possible remote play feature. But either way, if the launch model has any shortcomings, I've already beat him by waiting for an updated one. It may be selfish to hope for a less-than-perfect launch for such a reason, but he also insulted RAGE, he deserves it.

As the proud owner of a 3DS, I can patiently wait until a new version come out before I buy one of these. The dual analog sticks are certainly one of the better additions, and I hope the new Katamari will utilize those as opposed to some gimmicky motion or touch control. My hopes; the initial Vita has some flaws that are greatly improved on with the next model. "Why?", you ask? Because the one person I know who is getting one keeps insulting the 3DS and bragging about how he can play full PS3 games on the Vita XD

If anything I'll probably get a 3DS now and wait for a next version of Vita with all the goodies built in.
Exactly what I will be (or better yet, already am) doing. For every 2 steps forwards (PSP save data to Vita, possible PS2 classics) there seems to be some giant hiccup backwards (extra battery life ALREADY in progress, really? No PSOne classics at launch)...

I will probably get this. Now that I have a Job and steady money and I get this earlier in its life cycle than the PSP. I love my PSP, but I got it pretty late.

Dissapointing about the PS1 classics, however rumors are circulating that the new PS2 classics Sony just started doing is available for both PS3 & Vita, if true then that more than makes up for it. I wonder how much the battery life might cost? If anything I'll probably get a 3DS now and wait for a next version of Vita with all the goodies built in.
