Prototype 2 third dev diary covers the art of combat

More dodging, more blocking, and more suplexes

Radical Entertainment, the folks behind Prototype, put out a new developer diary today in their "Fan Video" series for Prototype 2. The third installment delves deeper into the combat system you'll find in the second game, namely some of the revisions between Prototype and Prototype 2.

The combat should feel familiar if you went through Alex Mercer's story, but several improvements set Heller's journey apart. Mostly, blocking and dodging will be a larger part of the combat, making for an overall more complex system than before. Oh, and Heller's new moves certainly help.

Prototype 2 will be out in April 2012.

the dodging part.... most of the time I see is that you just jump over the enemy... doesn't really look tht exciting but since its in the alpha stages, I think their going to polish it up.
And I would definitely hate to work in that place.
