Anyone feel like telling me what Texture Pop is?

I've never seen a texture pop...

ok i figured it out. It's when it's all blurry and in preload form, before it fully loads, for all those who didn't know.

Borderlands, for the many of you that have played it, has this problem as well. I don't know the extent of it in RAGE but in Borderlands, it was little more than an annoyance.

Supernova1332 It's a problem inherent to the Unreal engine.

Supernova1332 It's pretty bad in RAGE, no matter what I do. I'm pretty upset I wasted $60 on this POS.

Ohmycaptain Pre-ordering PC games or buying them early is generally not smart.

This is ridiculous! I can't even walk around the town hub without the game crashing, anymore. That patch fixed everything alright.

Just got this a few days ago and aside from tearing with no Vsync I'm running it maxed, except only 8x aa, with no problems with vsync on at a steady 60 fps with a GTX 570. Patch seems good to me.
