It's official: PlayStation Vita is region free. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe executive Michael Denny was not completely sure on the matter but SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida gave official confirmation.
What does region free mean for potential Vita owners? You can freely play Vita games from any region in the world. You could pick up a Japanese Vita console on December 17 and not worry about being unable to play games sold within your country.
