But, will the game that's from say the US, still be in English if you put it in a Japanese bought model?

The text is in the game files, not mandated by the console/handheld.

If you read the link in the first paragraph, you'll see the best answer out of Sony at the time was Vita should be region free. That's not a complete confirmation.

It's about time companies woke up to the fact that the world is no longer a big place.

I mean, every night, I drive home from work in my Australian car burning Saudi Arabian petrol, turn on my Korean television and sit down to watch an American tv show whilst enjoying a German beer with my Indian curry.

The world is a small place, region restrictions need to be abolished now.

A price drop is not likely until after a good year. Sony sells pretty much all their consoles and handhelds at a loss when they first come out, unlike nintendo which sells everything for a profit right off the bat. Sony simply forced Nintendo to sell the 3DS at a loss to keep in the lead but that was just a one time thing. A price drop won't happen for a while so it's foolish to expect one coming shortly after the release just because Nintendo did it.

Then they'll sue small businesses to oblivion for selling imports, claiming that it could hurt their ability to exploit the anticipation and excitement of the market.
