Pale, dragon rising was a decent game and I'm just waiting for red river to ship. I'm just hoping for another micro machines racing game .

Wow, I didn't necessarily mean they should shut down the whole thing! LOL I think it's a wise business decision for the moment, and I also like the fact they don't merely want to cut their employees out of the picture from the team and are hoping to put them in new positions.

Here's to the employees in hopes they find a seat in the new line-up, and here's to Codemasters in hopes they can give it another go in a few years. Until then......bring on the F1!!!!

damn the improvements from dragon rising to red river was insane. I was hoping their next op flshpnt would create a new "realism" sub genre in the fps. its a bummer but maybe they'll pick it back up later.

new ones? what we need is a legit DOS emulator for the console line. that's where the real micro machine would be.

Booo! Codemasters was known for their Operation Flashpoint series, the original was way ahead of its time. I know that it was a very difficult game, and had a very specific fan base but it was as close to combat you could get.
I was disappointed with Red River and the lack of, well complete void of vehicular gameplay, but over all it was a great game and its sad to see it go. But racing? I did see the new F1 trailer and it looked mediocre but racing games are hard to tell until you play them. I do like the CO-OP

Heard of Arma? It's what OF would've been if Codemasters hadn't bungled it. From the same developers. It's free.

Arma 3 is on its way, and there's a project reality for arma 2. OF's issue was the whole tab for 2 clicks to get a helo evac, due to sam sites nearby, when instead of clearing the sam sites to provide an alternate option. Along with poor ai team mates...
