Silicon Knights talk about story and making of X-Men: Destiny in new trailer
Xavier is dead, leaving Cyclops in charge
The developers at Silicon Knights are the focus of today's X-Men: Destiny video, but they have plenty to say about the game. The new video is a behind-the-scenes look at what went into developing the upcoming Marvel title, including voice work and motion capture. Additionally, we learn a little more about the premise of the game and the schism that tears the mutant population in two halves.
With Xavier presumed dead, Cyclops now leads the X-Men, a plot point that comic readers are likely familiar with. Unfortunately, he isn't quite as lovable as the Professor, and many mutants are turning to Magneto and his Brotherhood. Taking on the role of Aimi, Grant, or Adrian, you will decide how your mutant evolves and which side of the war he/she will join.
X-Men: Destiny will be released on September 27 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS.
