CS: Global Offensive PS3 supports keyboard and mouse, cross-platform play
Trailer shows off various maps
The PlayStation 3 version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will support cross-platform play, allowing PS3 players to challenge PC and Mac users. To make this match-up fair, PS3 players have the option of using Move controllers or good ol' keyboard and mouse.
Regardless of which version of CS: GO you play, there will be official Valve servers available though all players are free to host their own games as well. If you want to use CS: GO's match-making feature, you'll only be paired up with players using official servers.
As of now, CS: GO has five maps for Bomb/Defuse and two maps for Hostage Rescue. All maps for those modes are taken from the original Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be released through PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade, and Steam in early 2012. Beta testing for Global Offensive begins this October.

In Halo 2 PC, you can actually plug in a 360 controller and it will enable aim-assist for you, which makes it just like playing it on the Xbox. It's hard to say because the community for H2PC is rather small, but in my case, I have definitely performed better than anyone else I've played during my time on there, and that's with using the controller.
If there's a similar situation here, then console gamers have nothing to worry about.
I personally hate aim assist when using a controller because I want the controls to react to what I'm doing, not what it thinks I should be doing. Especially when for example the aim assist creeps towards the center mass and I'm always focusing on the upper body.
Renee Yeah, I know they didn't for any of the HL2 series. It's fine for campaign where the AI really have little interest in trying to make you miss your shots. Not so much for multiplayer.
They will make console players mad by not holding somebody's hand, yes. But the alternative is making PC players mad. The same players that they're apparently very happy about, judging by the video.
Also, I'm not suggesting they add it in for the PC version. I don't think PC gamers should really have much concern over the console version having it either. If it's not ridiculous like it is in CoD, then it's nothing more than an equalizer. For example, Halo just has a slight amount. Enough that anyone can get used to it and enjoy the game, but not enough that perfect aim is ever possible, even for MLG players. That's how it should be.
