For many Call of Duty players, one of the biggest selling points for the next Modern Warfare may be the revamped Spec Ops, which Sledgehammer Games promises will offer a robust alternative to multiplayer. There is, believe it or not, a fair number of CoD fans who avoid the online multiplayer like it's a community of foul-mouthed lepers.
So Spec Ops will be getting the whole multiplayer treatment, with leaderboards and its own progression system, plus the new Survival mode. Survival, if you haven't heard, is the CoD edition of Horde or Firefight mode, where players team up to fend off waves of enemies (including attack dogs). Today's trailer is all about that cooperative goodness.
