Deus Ex: Human Revolution comprehensive video goes over RPG-inspired gameplay
Augmentations for all of Adam's everyday needs
If, even after all these months, you still find yourself clueless on the subject of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Eidos Montreal is ready to educate you. The newest Human Revolution trailer, "Classified Information," is nearly five minutes long, and it covers just about everything you could possibly need/want to know about the game.
The video literally starts at the beginning, touching on the attach that left protagonist Adam Jensen near death. Augmentative surgery brought him back, and now he's on the hunt for his attackers, only to stumble upon a much larger conspiracy.
Much of the trailer goes over the augment-based gameplay, in and out of combat. Need to shoot a guard or talk down a terrorist? Yeah, they've got an augmentation for that. Augmentations can, of course, boost Adam's combative prowess, but it isn't always about shooting and hacking. You can actually purchase augments that will boost Adam's ability to socialize, opening additional dialogue options that may yield more information from NPCs or avoid violent situations.
Point is, Deus Ex is an RPG at heart, bundled together with stealth-shooter elements. Of course, you can always take a more direct approach, if you'd rather not tiptoe around.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be out on August 23 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

I like games like this now. I just finished crysis 2 and love that format of fps strategy. I like having options, I like smart AI, I like planning ahead, I like multiple routes, I like sneaking and avoiding confrontation as a solution, I like games that actually make me think, and that no matter how hard it is, you can just take the game slow and stealth your way through it. I will be playing this game on the hardest difficulty when it comes out for that reason. Its so fun planning out your attack plan medal gear solid or xcom style. I could play these types of games forever.
