Maybe because its about the aftermath of apocolypse, they gonna release it directly after the 21st december 2012 as a "the world wasnt gonna end, we had already planned ahead" message?

I would say they are much closer to a release than that. They've already got a rating, which could mean that they already know what is in the game --> close to a product.

Fallout looked far more unrealistic, I just love post-apocalypse games like this. Though it is just a strong earthquake, not a nuke war.
