Major DLC additions arrive for Killzone 3, Mortal Kombat, L.A. Noire, and others
It's a light week in terms of new games for PlayStation users as a few casual PSP mini titles and a shoot 'em up comprise the latest offerings. However, there are some major DLC additions debuting today such as a map pack for Killzone 3, the Skarlet character for Mortal Kombat, and a fresh L.A. Noire case.
PlayStation 3 games and demos:
- Alien Zombie Mega Death sees a lone spaceman face off against hordes of invading aliens in 70 stages. The brave astronaut has a few gadgets to help deal with the aliens but he also must keep an eye out for space babies to rescue and bombs that need defusing. Save the galaxy for $7.99.
- For tennis fans, Sega offers a Virtua Tennis 4 demo today. This sampler shows off support for PlayStation Move controllers and 3D televisions.
PSP minis:
- Brick Breaker is a Breakout clone featuring power-ups that can help or hinder your block-breaking progress. A Dual Paddle Mode places a paddle at the top and bottom of the screen. Break some blocks for $3.99.
- Labyrinth is a straight-up Pac-Man clone, complete with near-identical maze layouts. Grab every last dot in the maze and use power pellets to temporarily hold off enemies. Worth $3.99 to purchase.
- Solitaire has you sorting out playing cards in descending order from King to Ace. Two modes let you choose whether to play with one or three cards dealt out at a time. Worth $3.99 to purchase.
