Excellent. And I have TF2 now, so I can enjoy this update.

I never liked TF2. I think it is too fast paced for me, and I didn't like the art style. Lots of people like it though, and it's cool valve is still updating it and stuff. Though I'd rather see a Half Life 3 or something instead. I am disappoint they didn't show anything at E3.

TF2 is amazing because its somehow just perfectly balanced gameplay wise. No class is overpowered.

I agree with Spark...getting bored with Valve now regarding the lack of info about Half Life 2: episode 3. Bring some love back to the single-player peeps and forget the multi-player fags

    ^ Portal 2?????
Nice try. But Portal 2, as great and exciting as it was, is only a part of the bigger game that is Half-Life. We've been waiting for Episode 3 for so long, and instead we get Portal 2. And the game seems to be made "console-friendly". Something I think a lot of PC gamers are disappointed with. (Disappointed with games being made consolefriendly that is)

I don't really get what makes Portal 2 "console friendly".

Well, first of all the game was a lot easier than the first one. And secondly the loading screens between each levels could also indicate that the consoles' low amount of RAM was taken to account.

I don't see anything wrong with making the game accessible to console players. Let them have a little love, too. Valve may be having a little side affair with the consoles, but when it comes down to it, she goes home to the PC every morning and gives him the affection he deserves.

so can you only play this game for free this week? Or once you download it, can you play it forever without paying?

You can only play it for this week, it doesn't unlock for you forever to my understanding.
