Hacker collective Lulzsec, previously responsible for breaching security at websites run by Nintendo, Sony Pictures, and most recently Bethesda, have today claimed responsibility for several new conquests as part of what the group called "TitanicTakeoverTuesday".
Lulzsec succeeded in taking down the login servers for Eve Online, Minecraft, and League of Legends through DDoS attacks. Outside of MMOs, The Escapist Magazine also ended up being a target.
The good news is that most of the websites as well as their game servers should be back up and running at time of writing; it appears no personal information was stolen for a change. However, Eve Online operator CCP confirms that the MMORPG and its related services will remain offline until they finish "investigation of some issues".
