9:33: Microsoft's keynote opens with some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 footage, showcasing a mission that takes place underwater. The player is tasked with tracking down a submarine and planting explosives on its engine.
9:35: After the submarine is out of commission, the player surfaces, showing the sight of a ruined New York City. An infiltration into the submarine takes place.
9:39: Skipping ahead, the sub is destroyed, then we see an intense sea battle with the player navigating through battleships and other military boats. After shooting down some enemy gunships, the player arrives safely into an ally helicopter and is taken out of the area with one more look at the ruins of New York.
9:45: Time for a live Tomb Raider demo. Lara is in a more dismal situation, fearing for her life while attempting to escape from unknown captors. There's a bit of puzzle solving and platforming to do before she ends up in an intense survival sequence taking place within a collapsing cavern. Also, she's quite talky. Releases in Fall 2012.
9:53: BioWare takes the stage with Mass Effect 3, now boasting Kinect support for voice recognition. Players can speak selections during dialog sequences and order commands to partners during battles. The demo ends with a huge mecha about to attack Shepard, Garrus, Liara, and Mordin.
9:56: Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is being shown. The highlight is the Gunsmith mode where you can modify every aspect of your weapons. Ubisoft claims there are 20 million possible gun combinations suited for various situations. Very little lag seen when playing the game with Kinect.
10:00: All future Tom Clancy games will support Kinect.
10:04: Microsoft is showing off the latest Xbox 360 interface, including YouTube and Bing support in the future. This updated dashboard is minimalistic, moving content to the middle and showing categories at the top.
10:07: Live television is coming to Xbox 360. Microsoft is partnerning with TV stations worldwide to provide content. The new dashboard and other features arrive Fall 2011.
10:12: Cliff Bleszinski and Ice-T arrive to demonstrate Gears of War 3. Marcus and company are dealing with Locusts of all sizes at sea. Gigantic squid-like Locusts are wreaking havoc on battleships, forcing the team to escape on Silverbacks. Marcus manages to fit in some time to shoot at the eyes of the squid Locusts with some gross results.
10:18: Crytek's Ryse makes an appearance, taking place when the ancient Roman Empire was in power. A Mature-rated title that's definitely not for the kids due to some bloody swordplay.
10:20: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary boasts a completely remastered campaign that greatly improves visuals. Seven classic multiplayer maps included.
10:23: Forza Motorsport 4 presents new community modes, over 80 manufacturers and realistic visuals. We see the Top Gear logo in the trailer as well. Releases October 11, 2011.
10:25: Peter Molyneux steps up to show off Fable: The Journey. The player uses Kinect to attack with Will and conjure up a bow and arrow made of ice.
10:29: Minecraft arrives exclusively on Xbox 360 this winter, supporting Kinect.
10:31: Disneyland Adventures will keep the young ones busy with Disney-themed minigame collections and a virtual Disneyland theme park to walk through. Debuts during the holiday season.
10:35: A live demo of Kinect Star Wars shows some lightsaber action and use of Force powers to lift a battleship out of the way. Noticeable input lag here.
10:42: Parents who own Kinect might want to pick up Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster for toddlers and young children. It's an interactive storybook with various activities to do.
10:44: Kinect Fun Lab is digital platform that'll appear on the Xbox Dashboard to create your own content. You can capture objects, make images, and doodle with your fingers. Available to all Xbox 360 owners today.
10:48: Kinect Sports Season Two follows up the original Kinect Sports with golf and football.
10:53: Harmonix presents Dance Central 2, showing off new multiplayer dancing. The helpful dance cards are still available to tell you what routine to pull off. Backwards compatible with previous DLC.
10:57: And finally, Master Chief and Cortana are back on duty with Halo 4. Mark your calendar for Holiday 2012.
